What MotorThink is

MotorThink tells you what your car's manufacturer schedule says is due, tracks what you have had done, and explains common faults for your exact generation and engine.

What it is not

It is not a mechanic, and it is not a workshop manual. Schedules, issue cards and repair guides are generated by software, drawn from manufacturer information and public sources. They can be wrong, out of date, or not applicable to your particular car.

Before you buy a part or tighten a fastener, check the figure against the manual for your own vehicle. A repair guide describes a generation, not your individual car — market, facelift and trim all change things.

Brakes, steering, suspension, airbags and fuel systems can kill you or someone else if they are done wrong. If you are not confident, use a qualified mechanic. We flag safety-critical jobs, but the judgement is yours.

You are responsible for work you carry out or have carried out. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from following this information.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You may not use MotorThink to break the law, to scrape it wholesale, or to attack it.

Your content

Your vehicles, service records and questions stay yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the service — see the Privacy Policy for exactly how.

Availability

We do not promise MotorThink will always be available or always correct. We may change or withdraw features.

Ending it

You can stop using MotorThink at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing infor@motorthink.tech. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
